Through PAQUA's growing involvement with the kitesurfing community, we were asked to get behind the upcoming AKSA Nationals, and are proud to be part of this fantastic sport and event.

Several kitesurfing schools along the eastern seaboard have been using PAQUA products with great results over the Summer, and we look forward to a growing association - thanks go out to Steve McCormack (Kitepower Sydney), Glen Hooper (X-shore), Emma Gibbes (AKSA) and all those behind the scenes.

After a period of product evaluation in 2006, PAQUA has now been supplying products to several councils across Sydney, including Waverley Council whose Professional Lifeguards patrol Bondi, Bronte and Tamaramma beaches.

The jet-ski drivers on several key Sydney beaches use PAQUA to hold their UHF radio or mobile phone, allowing them to attend rescue situations safely, and whilst in constant communcation with the command centre.

Glacier Bay Catamarans, a well-known boat manufacturer from the USA, commenced distribution operations in Australia in 2005. Off to an impressive start, Glacier Bay Catamarans (GBC) Australian operation has been building the right distribution network through well-placed resellers throughout Australia.

Most recently appointing in Sydney, GBC decided to celebrate with a weekend on Sydney Harbour, putting their 22 foot cat through its paces. GBC is talking with PAQUA about supplying all new GBC customers with a PAQUA, to suit their marine lifestyle.

After several months of product evalaution at the hands of SLSA (Surf Lifesaving Australia), the PAQUAclear has been approved as a "waterproof radio housing" by the SLSA Equipment Evaluation team.

The evaluation products are put through their paces in many extreme conditions, and must reach a high standard of performance in order to gain approval.

With this approval, all the clubs, over 300 across Australia, will have access to this practical unit, to assist in their duties, on many coastal beaches around Australia. Stay tuned as we bring you the latest updates from each of the clubs, as they come on-board with the PAQUAclear.

PAQUA road-tests all products prior to release, in specific environments. As the Summer season in Australia co-incided with the launch locally of the PAQUAmobile and PAQUAclear, we were fortunate to utilise the French Alps as a testing ground for these products, in the snow/mountain terrain for Winter purposes both in Oz and abroad.

The evaluation went smoothly, and we "lost" all our evaluation units to the test-team! Thanks to all involved, and we're always happy to see PAQUA units pop-up in the more obscure regions of the world!

Almanarre is the most famous and popular windsurf spot in the South of France, where the famous "Mistral" wind system can last for three, six or even nine days in a row and where World Cup events take place each year.
It was the testing ground for the latest PAQUA products.

Tested by top world-class french speed windsurfer Christophe Fiorentini and local Michel Orsati.

The feedback about the products was great;

Through Kitepower in Sydney, we were introduced to Glen Hooper from X-shore Kiteboarding in Forster/Tuncurry - a local destination in the kitesurfing community.

Glen has had some problems with other water-proof equipment for their instructors, and has had a positive experience with PAQUA to date. As a result, we now stock Glenn's 3 stores with PAQUA gear, and X-shore instructors rely on PAQUA products to keep their comm's equipment dry in all coniditions.
