Recognising the brands' global potential, PAQUA Australia was selected by the Export/Trade development body, AUSTRADE, during an awesome year of growth and development, to form part of the "AUSTRALIA PAVILION" during OR 2006.
Off the back of our early success in the lead-up to the Australian Summer 2005, we felt confident the PAQUA concept would transfer well to the North American market. OR 2006 not only reaches US-based customers, but retailers and distributors from all over the world visit OR in Salt Lake, as it's simply the best show of its kind anywhere in the world.
We are excited about the response, and are currently fielding distribution opportunities from across the globe - to do this properly takes time, so keep posted via our site for developments both in Australia, and abroad.
Of note is our current trial with the California State Police Department - mountain bike and mounted police units; interest from the US Marine Corps; Ski Patrol; American Search & Rescue organisations, and a list of fantastic retailers and distributors from all over the world.

PAQUA was represented by two of our distributors Velo Vita Pty Ltd (Ph (02) 9695 7744) and Australian Fishing Network (AFN) (Ph (03) 9761-4044).
Both companies did a great job in displaying PAQUA's range, and fielding enquiries about additional product introduction in late 2006 - in time for the Spring/Summer season.
The overall response to PAQUA products remains positive, and several new retailers are on-board for the warmer months.
Please keep an eye out for our new products, which allow you to use your electronic items whilst enclosed in your PAQUA - speak, see and swim/surf to your hearts content!!
Several Australian Lifeguard services have placed their summer orders, so get on board, and keep your goods dry wherever you are!

PAQUA is a proud sponsor of APOLA, and attended their recent conference held on the Gold Coast, 3-5 May 2006.
APOLA has members from all around Australia - all states and most major coastal cities were represented.
An overseas contingent from the USA, Japan and Indonesia made this years conference, a truly international event.

Guest speaker Darrick Doerner (www.dd-sea.com), of legendary JAWS fame (ski driver for Laird Hamilton) along with some other notable speakers from around Australia and the USA, imparted their knowledge during the conference - both in and out of the water.
It was obvious from the array of rescue operations and activities undertaken by APOLA members during it's history, not just over the past 12 months, that Australia is at the fore-front of open water safety.
The pinnacle of the conference was the "Lifeguard of the Year" awards - taken out by Bondi Lifeguard Bruce Hopkins - congratulations Bruce!
The stories and experiences shared on the night were truly inspiring.

Through our unique connection with APOLA, PAQUA has dedicated it's new division, PAQUAprofessional, to creating product with a specific "search and rescue" function.

Well done to all the APOLA members and its affiliates - it's a great honour for PAQUA to be involved with your organisation.

Our great French-connection buddies got to give their PAQUA's a go in the harsh French Alps recently.
Carrying their camera, phone and GPS, PAQUA did the job, well below zero.
We especially like the beer-holding abilities of the PAQUA - not yet tested by the Aussie crew - we'll get back to you on that one!

With our "Lifestyle" NSW distributor JR Lifestyle Dynamics, PAQUA was recently generating enormous interest at the 2006 Travel Expo.
A great fit for PAQUA products, the travel industry was hugely receptive to the concept of a range of water-proof products for it's clientele.
JR Lifestyle did a great job representing PAQUA, and we look forward to working with some of the travel partners that have emerged from the Expo.
